Ceramic Tile Cleaning

According to the tile Council of North America a ceramic is any tile that is baked or fired. therefore, the Ceramic family of hard floors includes Ceramics,Porcelains Quarry, saltillo, and Terra Cotta Tiles.

As it relates to Ceramic Tile Cleaning, these are relatively easy to maintain, especially the face of the tile, it is the ceramic tile grout that is the most difficult to clean. This tile can be restoratively cleaned through a variety of scrubbing procedures and/or with the use of high pressure washing systems available today.

These systems use heat and pressure to clean the floor while simultaneously extracting the slurry all in one continuous motion – similar to an automatic floor scrubber. The combination of the cleaning products, high heat and simultaneous extraction that occurs when using these tools has greatly improved the end results.

Here is how the Ceramic Tile grout cleaning works, Let pretend a shot glass is the pore of the grout, now let’s say the water coming out of your kitchen faucet is the pressure. Try filling the shot glass when the faucet is wide open. it won’t fill up – the pressure is too great. The water goes into the shot glass but comes blasting right back out. This is what happens when you high pressure wash Ceramic Tile grout, the pressure is too great that it goes in the pore of the grout and comes (blasting) right back out. This type of high pressure washing takes place under a shrouded head/toll with a vacuum included. Once the soiled water comes blasting back out from the floor it is immediately extracted by the vacuum under the shrouded head.
