Carpet Seams coming apart? What is a carpet seam?
When carpet is first installed it has to be cut to fit the size of your room, then the carpet pieces are seam together (attached) by two straight edges , if properly done these seams will be almost invisible and will last for the life of the carpet. Now, is your carpet coming apart by these seams? Most of the time this happen because the seams were not properly glue down or maybe because the seam was done in a high traffic area , all you have to do is lift the carpet just a little bit to see if there is what it looks like a commercial tape under the carpet.
